I think Jinder going over Nakamura in the same way he went over Orton like... three times... really hurts Nakamura but also really hurts Jinder as well.

Orton is "over" with casual fans but is hit or miss with the die-hards and Jinder being put over him was no-risk for Jinder, he was going to draw real hear.

Putting him over Nakamura, who is hit-or-miss with casual fans but is insanely popular with the die-hards really doesn't help Jinder. Most of Nakamura's fans were people behind the Jinder meme to begin with, but won't place the significance of the meme over their affinity of Nakamura. When these people don't like something, they tend to not watch - or worse - create an incredibly toxic environment. I think Jinder will have LESS heat with casual fans who will have moved on from Jinder/Orton angle... and I think he'll have a lot more toxic interactions with the fans from here on out and/or be met with silence, from people conflicted by their love of the meme but worried the story has gone too far in one (silly) direction.

Worse, this KILLS Nakamura, who comes off as a Dolph-Ziggler-Rate stupid babyface who fell for the same tricks Randy Orton fell for. People on the fence about whether or not to support Nakamura are far less likely to do so following that match.

To me, this is a classic example of the WWE front office not really understanding the complexity of emotions of the fans. They think it'd help Jinder because it'll end the meme and they think it'll help Nakamura because casuals hate Jinder and I think it'll do the exact opposite.

What do you think?

What's sad is at least TNA wasn't even dumb enough to up their World Title on Shira just because he's from India #FeelTheBern

I think That's WWE's ultimate goul, to draw India fans. But this isn't how to do it.

The Word is Vince really wanted Jinder to win and I am guessing he is still sore with Nakamura for the accident during the match with Cena.

I almost have a feeling within a year the way things are going, Nakamura will be probably request his release and head back to NJPW.

I doubt it. The reason why he left Japan is because he's beat up and wanted to do less.
